School Project

Hackney

The main challenge in this extensive internal alterations program was to complete works on a very tight timeline and turn this run down east-end school in the heart of London's Hackney into a fully functional OFSTED approved private facility. As the main contractor on this project, we deployed a team of 20-30 to work alongside subcontracting teams.

The internal layout was reconfigured and provision was made for a catering kitchen and appropriate ventilation. To meet type L1 fire regulations, a full electrical overhaul was carried out integrating the locking systems with the fire alarm, smoke detection and emergency lighting system. 20 refurbished WC's, 420m2 of new suspended ceilings, 120 door locks, 860m2 of carpeting and 1500 litres of paint later and we were ready to hand over the school to the new headmaster.

What Our Clients Say

Heyland & Spratt (Michael, Victoria, Adam and the rest of the team) have been our partner from the very beginning.  We wanted to have the best house on the street and they did it! They were with us every step of the way and we cannot ask for anyone better than them to do the work for us.

Gia and Reza, Balham

Heyland & Spratt have done several jobs on our house and we have been more than happy to recommend their work to friends.  Michael is helpful and easy to work with and his team always turn up on time and do a good job.  We have had our house painted inside and out to a very high standard...

Mike and Sarah, Twickenham

Heyland & Spratt have steered us through a complex refurbishment and extension project on our house in Camberley.  From day one dealing with council bureaucracy to moving in.  Throughout he kept us informed and at peace! We are delighted with our new home.
